Control the DC motor speed

The system has been designed to study programming logic control techniques in the speed control of independent excitation motors. The speed control rule consists of two control loops: the hardware loop with overcurrent limit and the speed loop with external PLC control. Measure the speed with a tacho generator or with a decoder via a frequency / voltage converter.

The speed reference is set by the potentiometer or select switch and under PLC control. PI controller regulates PWM circuit which controls power including semiconductor switching. Programmable acceleration and deceleration lines Gauges for engine speed, voltage and armature current; Connected to PLC through bridges or connectors.
